Just six months later, Jess was diagnosed with lymphoma. It was a challenging time, but Rusty's unwavering love, support, and care made it clear to Jess that he was the one she wanted by her side for life.

Together, they've built a relationship filled with laughter, adventures, and simple joys - whether it's hiking with their dog Phoebe, browsing antique shops, or just enjoying each other's company.

On November 22, 2024, Rusty asked Jess to marry him - and she said yes! Now, they can't wait to celebrate the start of their next chapter surrounded by the people they love most.
